Make LowPoly Great Again
1) My main objective when creating this piece was to make the image look as real-looking as possible using only triangles compared to the original image.
2) The tools primarily used for this project were the polygonal lasso tool, the LowPoly action that had to be created, and the paintbrush tool.
3) An advantage of using the Photoshop actions is that many different steps to creating one thing can be done all together by creating an action with one simple shortcut to execute the action you want done.
4) I was able to use more detail when creating the facial features by making smaller triangles over areas that need more attention to detail.
5) Some of the challenges that I faced while creating this piece were making the extra small triangles over the eyes, eye bags, and eyebrows. I didn't want to make HUGE triangles over these key areas. The eye bags were especially challenging since they took two days to make.
6) I feel like I successfully completed the project because I went into great detail with every part of the face and when painting the fill-in layer. I feel that the project looks just as real as the original image and i managed to use only triangles.
